New Affiliate Discoveries

Perhaps you’ve noticed the cool little quilts of faces on various blogs titled “Recent Readers”? Well one of the services that provides the avatar quilts is “My Blog Log“. This is a type of social bookmarking site that allows you to place a widget on your blog and helps connect you to various community members.

I just joined two nights ago (August 28th) and already have several new hits on my blog. In fact, in the past 2 days, I went from 5 views to 40 views.  If they like the content, they’ll keep coming back to read it as well. The site allows you to join various “communities”, and seems like a fun way to see a bunch of new blogs and connect with people of similar interests.

Keep on eye on my reader quilt, and hopefully it will grow. But will it increase traffic? I’ll keep you updated on the hit counts!
