Lynee, You've invented a new sport, Current Event Hunting. What was most satisfying about this is that it was a naturally occuring post in my blog... I was SHOCKED to see how many site visits I had the next day. I'm still getting hits, but it's tapered off. It just goes to show you how fickle web searchers are (it's old news already!)

I have visited quite a few blogs and always wondered why, out of the blue, the author would post about a current event. You have explained this technique very well and I think I just may have to try this on my own site. I think your most important statement is to choose a current event that is relevant to your site, I am going current even hunting now, ta-ta.
