Update on Build a Niche Store
Well my customized store using the software I mentioned earlier in the week, Build a Niche Store, is starting to look really nice. I used a new premium word press them by Small Potato called Jello-Walla-Mello, which uses the news style format.
If you’re building a store the news style format is really the ticket because it allows you to showcase half a dozen or so items at a time in the form of a written review, complete with a product photo and links to the store items.
I case you didn’t read the earlier post, Build a Niche Store is a PHP based set of scripts that you install on your server. The installation script creates an SQL database that is the backend for a content management system. It can be used standalone to create an ebay store within 20 minutes, or less.
I am using it as an added feature on a website that I’ve been busy adding content to, and recruiting family members to contribute. So far it looks great. I havn’t made any sales yet, but I’m still working on content, SEO, and interlinking articles with the store pages.
Here is a link to the Build a Niche website, along with my affliate link. If you decide to purchase it, I’d appreate the commission for sending you their way. I know some of you are smart enought redirect the commision to someone else, but hey, if you heard it hear first…
Unfortunately, you can only view the forums after you have paid for the product. The forums are one of the most helpful places I’ve run into with the developers always ready to answer every question.
I’ll keep you updated and post some more tips about the process.
I’m also doing another project the I can’t wait to tell you about. The information I’m learning is really mind-blowing…don’t worry, I’ll share all of it with you as well….I don’t want to hit you with too many things at once!
