New Affiliate Discoveries

My first BANS site (build a niche store) has earned me my first commission. I checked back just yesterday, and two more sales have been made. It’s a small start, but so far my only traffic is organic search, I have not done much work at all to promote the store or drive traffic to it.

I am starting to realize that “affiliate marketing” is really just internet marketing. There are so many products available that you can market on your own and receive commissions for…ebay, commission junction, clickbank, etc. Learning all the different internet marketing tools is really where your success or failure comes in.

All you need is a website, and it can be a free website ala the Thirty Day Challenge, or you can create your own domain name and install a blog or even a script to help you get started.

I’m seeing a slow trickle of money start to come in. Far from Problogger or Shoemoney numbers, but $1 a day, can turn into $10 a day, into $100 a day. Set up half a dozen sites and we’re starting to talk about a few thousand dollars a month.
