New Affiliate Discoveries

I’ve written a bit about keyword research and niche site strategies.  If you’ve done some market research and found what you think is a good niche with low competition and good search engine traffic, the next step is to set up your “money site”.  A “money site” is the site that contains either your affiliate links to a product relating to the niche, or even a sales page for your very own product.

Let’s assume that you’ve got this step started.  How do you begin to develop links to your site to increase traffic and search engine rankings?

One great way is with article submissions.  Article directories are sites that accept article submissions from authors and allow publishers to reproduce the article content on their own sites.  How do you benefit from this?  When your article is reproduced, your “resource box” or biography is reproduced also.  Included in your resource box are few sentences describing your qualifications to write the article as well as a link to your site.

Your article is first published on the article submission site, with a link to your “money page”.  Not only does this get you traffic, but it counts as a backlink to your site as well.  Now imagine that 10 or even 100 publishers looking for content in your niche republish your article including your bio box.  Now you have backlinks from 10 or 100 sites getting traffic and increased search engine rankings.
