How to Write a Tutorial-Getting Screenshots

While doing all this activity with Build a Niche Store and wanting to blog about it, I find myself wishing I could tak quick screenshots and post them with minimal fuss. Isn’t there an easy way to grab a screenshot?

I’ve just discovered a FireFox addon called ScreenGrab! that installs as a firefox extension and enables a right click menu to grab just the visible portion of the screen or the whole page. Here is the ScreenGrab Add On homepage, grabbed, of course, with ScreenGrab!, click to enlarge:

Pretty nifty, huh? I will be using this a lot to write tutorials for you guys as well as posting to some of my other blogs…

  1. I’ve been using FireShot for several months and love it. It also includes a ScreenShot Studio for adding arrows/boxes and text.
