New Affiliate Discoveries

Well it’s been several Sundays since I’ve updated this mem, but it was always a lot of fun. The truth is that I’ve spent nearly every free “online” minute working on my own affiliate marketing websites, niche websites, working through the Thirty Day Challenge with Ed Rain, learning about SEO and creating three niche websites with Build a Niche Store.

1) If I were as good of a blogger as Caroline Middlebrook, I’d be posting daily about everything I’m learning.  But there is so much to learn about that it’s hard enough to take it all in let alone blog about it.  I’m trying to share the highlights with you guys and share the most important parts of what I’ve learned.  I’m pretty good at breaking things down into learnable pieces of information.  Hopefully i can try to break things down and share them here on my blog so that you can learn from them too, or so that you can help teach me what you’ve already picked up on!

2)  BlogClout is always posting helpful ideas.  While I’m a bit behind the times on this one, his post about Creating an Info Product during the month of November caught my eye because it’s a variation on “National Novel Writing Month”.  Writing for my niche stores was the way I celeberated NaNoWriMo this year, so I was interested in his take on the project.

3)  Yaro Starak blogs about Deadlines in this post.   If you read nothing else, scroll to the bottom and read why most bloggers are not marketers.  If you’re trying to make money blogging, you need to realize that he could be describing you in this post! (Or even me!)

4) Income Hero’s friendly writing style is fun to read.  In this series, he gives us a day by day accounting of how he sets up a website to get one sale every five days.  He’s done it with several sites so far, and is letting us peek in on his action steps.  Nothing real groundbreaking here, but it’s great to see how someone else gets things going on a new site.

5)  Tom Dean has a nice post on Keyword research and finding a niche.  I’ve been meaning to write my own post on this topic with all I’ve learned so far, but he’s done it much better than I can!

6a & 6b) Two interesting posts on Blogging Fingers with tips on making money with non “Make Money Online” blogs.  Great advice that took me two months to figure out on my own! Build a Profitable Blog Niche & Simple Tips to Make You Money Online

7)  Derek Beau reminds use that if you’ve got money making on your mind, you just need to do it.  Just start somewhere. Pick a strategy and go.  Review your results, make changes and keep trying. Never give up!
